The Ocho is a new group that will focus on Windows 8 development in the greater Seattle area. The development opportunities around this new operating system are huge and the entry gate is wide. Come in with .NET experience, HTML/CSS/JS experience, C++ experience, or even no experience at all. Build an app and get it in front of millions of eyes. We'll split our time between training and actually writing code.

A monthly meeting of WordPress users and devs. We welcome every proficiency level. Our purpose is to offer support and share information, best practices, techniques, tools and resources. Our members are bloggers, new users, graphic designers with basic HTML and CSS skills, developers new to WordPress, and experienced WordPress developers. VanJS is a meetup for web developers downtown Vancouver. The focus is on Javascript, HTML5, and the open web. Javascript frameworks, browser functionality, tips and tricks are all popular topics. The meeting format is two 45 minute talks, followed by pub time for discussion. We usually meet every other month. Let us know if there's something you'd like to give a talk on!
